Our experience with Special Touch was fabulous. We called them in the evening and they were here first thing the next morning (offered to come that night). Nathan and Bailey were awesome. They were fun to talk to and they were both loved by our toddler and dogs. We responded to this home because their washing machine supply line had burst, flooding the kitchen and seeping into the adjacent living room, dining room, and crawl space. The family called us to extract the water and dry the affected areas. Within an hour, a team of experts arrived, armed with specialized equipment. We quickly assessed the damage, containing the water and preventing further spread. Powerful pumps were deployed to extract the water, followed by dehumidifiers to combat the lingering moisture. The team also monitored the air quality closely to prevent mold growth, a common hazard after water damage. As the water was removed, the extent of the damage became apparent. The kitchen flooring, which was hardwood, needed to be replaced. Fortunately, the walls showed no signs of water damage. Comfort Inn Suites: Hotel Water Damage

The Comfort Inn Suites - Huntsville, had water damage due to the sprinklers going off, causing a CAT 3 loss. The water spread from the 2nd floor to the 1st, causing damage in eight rooms and two hallways. We responded within 2 hours of the call to extract the water, and bring in drying fans and dehumidifiers. The damage was extensive enough that we had to remove drywall, insulation, flooring, and gyp-crete underlayment. This allowed the rooms to be properly disinfected and allowed the wood subflooring to dry. The hotel was able to put the rooms back into commission quickly, and was thrilled with the turnaround time.

The management reached out to us due to there being a water damage from defective construction. The pipe broke on the first-floor ceiling, flooding several units within the complex. We diligently worked with the tenants to remove belongings and ensure that the belongings were safe during mitigation, effectively remove flooring and drywall, and fully dry all parts of the structure. Once the dry out had been completed, we continued to restore the property, allowing the tenants to safely move back into the units with a clean and proper bill of health.
